Dear ,
With the upcoming release of ioChem-BD at the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre (BSC), we are introducing a new collaboration framework aimed at strengthening community interaction and facilitating teamwork across institutions.
All users will now belong to a group , typically corresponding to their home institution . This enables the use of the Collaborate features to work more easily in teams within the same organisation.
For users who require a different setup (e.g., project-based or cross-institutional collaboration), we will be able to create specific groups upon request.
Because users are now part of groups, please be aware that when you select the Share option, the selected content will be shared with your entire group (by default, your institution or your specific group if applicable).
We therefore encourage you to review sharing settings carefully before confirming, especially when handling unpublished or sensitive data.
The motivation behind this update is to promote a more interactive and connected community, supporting collaborative research workflows and institutional knowledge exchange within ioChem-BD.
If you have any questions about groups or sharing permissions, please do not hesitate to contact the ioChem-BD support team.
Warm regards,
The ioChem-BD Team
